MASINDI MAN DIES MYSTERIOUSLY WHILE TRAVELING FOR BURIAL

Police in Masindi district have commenced investigations into the mysterious death of an 86-year-old man who passed away while traveling for the burial ceremony.
The deceased, identified as Rwahwire Azaliya, a resident of Mirya Cell, Kigulya Division, Masindi Municipality, was discovered dead yesterday evening on 10th June along the road in the same area.
Mr. Ibrahim Nasur told www.mknewslink.com that he was with the deceased yesterday morning on 9th June in Masindi town and that he told him that he wasn’t feeling well.
According to Ibrahim, he advised the deceased to get medication, which he did, adding that after two hours he got a phone call informing him that Rwahwire had been discovered dead along the road.
Mrs. Rwahwire Beatrice Mbabazi, the deceased’s wife, told mk news link reporter at the scene that the deceased has been battling with diabetes and high blood pressure for quite some time and has been on and off the hospital.
Mrs. Mbabazi said that after a few minutes, she received a phone call that her husband had collapsed along the road, adding that when she rushed to the scene and found him dead.
Police from Masindi Central Police Station rushed to the scene and conveyed the body to Masindi district hospital for a postmortem; however, they wouldn’t comment on the incident by press time.
