MASINDI NRM REGISTRAR ARRESTED OVER COURT FEES

Jackson Byabakama, the NRM registrar central division, Masindi municipality has been arrested over failure to pay UGX 9 million to Masindi based business man, James Magadu.
Byabakama was picked on 18th April 2018, from his home by court Flokats court brokers and bailiffs.
In 2009, Byabakama dragged James Magadu to Masindi chief magistrates’ court challenging the circumstances under which he bought the family house he was caretaking but Byabakama lost to Magadu.
In 2013, Byabakama appealed to Masindi high court challenging the ruling made against him
In 2017, court presided over by visiting Judge Justice, Musalo Musene,entered the judgment against Jackson Byabakama in a civil appeal No.029 0f 2013 ordering Byabakama to pay the decree holder the sum of UGX 9 million costs of the suit which he failed to pay to date.
The house in contention is located at plot nine commercial street in Masindi municipality.
By the time of filing the story Byabakama had been taken to Masindi government prison.
