In Masindi—
Police in Masindi are stuck with three motherless children brought to their station last week.
Annet Karamagi the Probation and Welfare Officer Masindi district told www.mknewslink.com that two of the children are aged one year while the third is just four months old.
She told our reporter that the mother of the one year old children died during delivery at Masindi district general hospital.
“The only relative we know is the maternal aunt who is also mad here in Masindi town, but we are tracing for the relatives,” Karamagi added.
The probation officer further explained that the four month old baby was dumped by unknown mother at the neighbor’s daughter who later handed it over to her office.
Karamagi asked tenants to register their names, and next of kin to the landlords and area chairpersons to avoid such incidents.
