MASINDI RDC’S OFFICE BROKEN INTO, TWO COMPUTERS STOLEN

Police in Masindi district is hunting for the unknown thugs who broke
into the office of the Resident district Commissioner Masindi and
stole computers.
Unknown people broke into the office of the RDC and his deputy
stole two computers one from the RDC’s office and another from the
office of the deputy RDC over the weekend.
Tankovu Francis, the OC CID Masindi, led the team of detectives and
the sniffer dog to the scene of crime today morning to ascertain what
had happened exactly.
Tankovu said that investigations into the matter will continue until
the culprits are apprehended.
Godfrey Nyakahuma, the Resident District Commissioner Masindi,
confirmed his offices were broken into and the items
which were stolen include the monitor, the computer, printer and two
flash disks.
Nyakahuma added that they are to investigate until the culprits are arrested.
LonginoBahebwa Byagagaire the deputy RDC Masindi said that the thugs
went through the windows noting that the windows were found with
damges.
A reliable source explains that there is no security guard to take
keen of the office.
The RDC of Masindi is the head of security in the district and it wouldnt be possible to break into his office. if the head of security in district is attacked, the other residents in the district are at risk.
