Masindi’s best female student in 2019 Uganda Certificate of education (UCE) loses hope in continuing with her studies because of lack of support from her parents.

According to Atulinda, she wants to do PCB/Sub math in ‘A’ level such that she can become a medical Doctor. She says she has been supported by Ikoba Girls secondary school right from senior one to senior four since her parents are finically constrained.
She adds that she wants to continue with her studies but she cannot continue since her father is bed ridden. She also notes that her father cannot support himself because is suffering from hepatitis B and back ache.
Atulinda is calling upon the public and the well-wishers` to come out and help her in her studies such that she can become a responsible citizen.
Yesterday, the Ikoba girls secondary school’s chaplain Reverend, Fred Wamani, brought Atulinda to the district chairman’s office such that they can forge a way forward of helping her.
Speaking to journalist,  Wamani explained that they have been supporting  her since she joined ‘O’ level adding that they brought her to the office of the district chairman  such that it can provide a helping hand.
Responding to the child’s concern, Cosmas Byaruhanga the LCV chairperson Masindi district said that the district will get all ways and give her little support urging the entire community to come out and give her necessary support.
He also added that as district authorities they are going to devise means and and forge a way on how they will be helping students with such cases.
