MBARARA: 12 NGABO ACADEMY STUDENTS ARRESTED FOR ATTACKING MISD

Police in Mbarara have arrested 12 students of Ngabo academy school on charges of assault and malicious damage.
The Rwizi regional spokes person Samson Kasasira said that the students were arrested following an attack on Mbarara institute for social development (MISD) last night.
Kasasiira said that, at least 8 students of MISD got injuries and those seriously injured are now receiving treatment at Ruharo mission Hospital in Mbarara, while those with minor injuries were admitted at the institutions clinic.
The police mouthpiece added that two Institute vans were also destroyed.
John Tuwangye, the director Mbarara Institute for Social Development said that they were attacked when the students were in the evening prayers.
He said that they had no grudge with Ngabo Academy School but he is surprised to find a secondary school attacking a technical institution.
