MBARARA BODA BODA CYCLIST MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD

Police in Mbarara city have today recovered a dead body of a boda boda cyclist believed to be in his 30’s in Booma cell, Kamukuzi Division, Mbarara city.

ASP Samson Kasasira the Rwizi Police Mouthpiece told journalists in a press statement that today at around 0847/c in the morning they received a notice from residents that a lifeless body of a man was lying down in Booma Cell, Kamukuzi division, Mbarara city.

Kasasira said that as police, they swung into action and found the body of Kamugisha Damiano alias Kazaho aged 30 years old a Boda Boda Cyclist at Mbarara regional referral hospital gate stage.

The PRO said that the deceased was found lying facing down behind the fence at the roadside near the garden with marks of violence ,blood oozing out from the mouth and nose hit by a blunt object most likely a Hammer which shuttered his skull.

Kasasira said that the lifeless body of the deceased was taken to Mbarara regional referral hospital for a postmortem as the Hunt for the unknown assailants continues.

Kasasira is now appealing to Boda Boda Cyclists to stop operating beyond curfew which makes them easy targets for the criminals.
