MBARARA BODA BODA CYCLIST MURDERED, MOTORCYCLE STOLEN

Police in Mbarara are hunting for unknown assailants who killed a boda boda cyclist before taking off with his motorcycle.
Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region police spokesperson has identified the deceased as Johnson Turyahebwa a resident of Kisenyi cell Kakoba division Mbarara city.
Kasasira told www.mknewslink.com reporter that Turyahebwa who has been operating at Rwebikona stage was on 28th March 2021 reported missing by his brother Amon Kansiime.
The PRO said that they decided to amount a search until yesterday when someone informed them that there was a dead body of a man in Kihumuro cell Mbarara city.
“We rushed to the scene and his relatives identified him as the missing Johnson Turyahabwe. His phone and motorcycle reg.no.UFA 579K were both stolen by the killers,”Kasasira noted.
He added that the body of the deceased was taken to Mbarara regional referral hospital for postmortem.
He suspects that the motive of the murder was robbery thus they have commenced investigations at Mbarara central police station on Reference number CRB422/2021.
