The Mbarara regional referral hospital is stranded with a critically sick woman who was dumped there by allegedly people from one of the churches in town.
The In charge Intensive Care Unit Sister Ruth Asingwire Ntungwa says they received Prossy Nabasa 18 years from the Maternity ward after the conditions had gone critical and it is now month and a half with no care taker even a relative who has shown up.
Sister Asingwire says that it is alleged that people who brought and dumped her in the hospital were from one of the churches around town where she rushed for prayers after felling abdominal pains and when the conditions continued to worsen they rushed to hospital where they left her with no care taker.
Sister Asingwire says that Nabasa had Ectopic pregnancy which caused the pains and she delayed to be worked on by a physician which resulted to all the problems that put her life in danger.
She now appeals to all people who know Nabasa to show up as she needs care so that nurses and doctors can also do their work.
