MBARARA CITY COUNCILLORS TO BLOCK NON-VACCINATED COLLEAGUES, JOURNALISTS FROM COUNCIL

Mbarara city councilors have today resolved to chase away from council meetings all non vaccinated colleagues and journalists starting next sitting.

Bonny Tashobya Karusya the Mbarara City council speaker said that all councilors should by now be vaccinated to safe guard their lives from the pandemic.

Tashobya noted that they are to even organize a vaccination day at Mbarara city Council health Centre for all non vaccinated councilors and journalists.

Byansi Muhammad a councilor for Kakoba division applauded the council’s resolution.

He noted that all journalists and other people who may need to attend the council meetings should always first present their vaccination cards.
