MBARARA CITY FC DRAW KCCA AT KAKYEEKA

Mbarara City FC the new debutants in the Azam Uganda premier league shared the points with Kampala City Authority [KCCA] the champions of 2016-2017 Azam in a friendly game that was played at Kakyeka play ground the home ground for Mbarara City yesterday 23rd August 2017.
KCCA played hard to get the goal but the midfield of Mbarara City was very well organized and it could not allow the KCCA Players to penetrate.
However, Coach Richard Makumbi changed the game in the last minutes when he introduced Suwed Satugomba commonly known as Di Maria in the wings and disorganized KCCA defence. He was remaining with a keeper to beat but misused the chance when he wanted to score by using backheel kick and at the end he side netted.
Howere KCCA Michael Mutebi said that he would have won the match but most of his senior players was not available as they have been called for national duty where they are ni preparation to face Egypt on 31/8/2017 in world cup qualifier at Nambole stadium.
Richard Makumbi; the coach for Mbarara City said that his team is now in good shape to compete for the trophy when the season begins . He said that getting a point from KCCA is not easy however; he says that he was expecting a win because Kakyeka being his home ground he will not afford to lose any point when the season begins.
