Mbarara district councilors have threatened to chase the Chief Administrative Officer Felix Cuthbert Esuko accusing him of failure to implement council resolutions.
The vice chairperson Mbarara district Godfrey Baryomunsi who is also the secretary for production noted that various resolutions are being passed on by the council but none is taken into considerations.
He raised this concern during the council sitting yesterday at Kamukunzi hall following a complaint by Asaph Muhangi councilor for Ndeija sub-county that sub-county and parish land is being taken away by people.
Baryomunsi said that some public servants are busy selling off the government land and the CAO is keeping a deaf ear.
The speaker Mbarara district council Baram Ndyaguma directed the CAO to present all land titles of the sub-counties in the next council because a lot of land has been grabbed.
