MBARARA EXPECTANT MOTHERS RELIEVED AS DISTRICT CONSTRUCTS MATERNITY WARD AT BUBAARE H/C III

Mbarara district Local Government has launched the construction of Maternity ward at Bubaare Health Centre III worth 1.2 Billion shillings.

The District Chairperson Mbarara Didas Tabaro Tumwesigye said that people need good health services if they are to do productive work.

Tabara said that they need to promote health canter threes to reduce the maternal death rate.

He also warned the health workers over stealing and selling government drugs, noting that they risk losing their Jobs and being prosecuted.

 He also strongly warned politicians from owning government projects noting that their role is to only monitor the operations.

The in charge of Bubaare Health centre III Wilson Nabaasa noted that this would be a relief to expectant mothers as they have been trekking long distances to seek maternity services
