Alesmus Ninsiima, Ronald Agaba, Anthony Kakuba and Stephen Mujuni all attached to pepper publications mbarara bureau were arrested yesterday on alleged charges of publishing a false story in last week’s news papers.

The OC-CID Taban Chiriga confirmed today afternoon the arrest and says that they are on charges of False news which is contrary to section 50 of the penal code Act.
Chiriga says they are still investigating the matter and after they will be charged fully but he warns journalists from publishing false news about families because it can lead to break up of families.
