MBARARA RCC SUMMONS KAKOBA COLLEGE OF COMPUTER AND VOCATIONAL STUDIES OVER STUDENT’S UBTEB CERTIFICATES.

The Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Mbarara Lt.Col.James Mwesigye has summoned the director kakoba College of Computer and vocational studies, Mr.Godson Zaabashija over failure to issue out Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) certificates to students that graduated from the institute in 2020.
Mr Godson Zaabashija was summoned on Thursday,2nd,2023 after a group of students who finished at the college in 2020 stormed the office of the Resident City Commissioner Mbarara (RCC) in Boma cell, Mbarara City seeking justice,on Friday last week.
Lt.Col.James Mwesigye the Resident city commissioner, Mbarara says that Mr.Zaabashija was summoned to respond on the matter.
However in an interview with our reporter,Mr.Zabashija admitted that the college earlier acquired the purported certificates and thus advised the aggrieved students to go for their documents at the institution in Kakoba ward, Mbarara city south.
Students who spoke to this online publication on condition of anonymity accuse the school management of failure to acquire their academic documents from UBTEB since 2020 .They allegedly pin the director of channeling the UBTEB registration fees to contest for chairmanship of Rwampara district in 2021 where he was beaten hands down.
