In Mbarara—
Mbarara Resident City Commissioner Lt. Col James Mwesigye has vowed to smash whoever intends to disrupt the fourth coming inauguration ceremony of the fountain of honor.
He warned that such people should first bid farewell to their families then prepare to face the long arm of the law since they will be harshly worked on.
Mwesigye’s warnings come in after the army spokesperson Brigadier General Flavia Byekwaso revealed to the nation that there are people plotting to disrupt the Inauguration ceremony of president Museveni come 12th.May, 2021.
The RCC appealed to the public to remain peacefully and disregard propaganda spreading on social media that airplanes with American commandos have landed on borders of Uganda with Kenya to disrupt the swearing-in.
Col. Mweisgye added that the Supreme Court gave Museveni a green light to be sworn in as a duly elected president after National Unity Platform leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine withdrew a petition that had wanted to challenge the election.
He thus encouraged all Ugandans to keep peace and unity on the day when president Museveni will be sworn in.
