MBARARA REFERRAL HOSPITAL REGISTERS 4TH COVID 19 RELATED DEATH

Mbarara regional referral hospital has registered one more COVID 19 related death.

The deceased is a 58 year old female, Congolese refugee from Isingiro district who died at the referral hospital yesterday morning.

This brings the number of COVID 19 deaths at the hospital to 4 since it admitted its first case was on 16, May, 2020.

According to hospital director Dr. Celestine Barigye, 150 cases have been handled, 109 discharged and 29 are still active with 21 receiving treatment from home and 8 at the hospital as of October, 21st, 2020.
