MBARARA REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL PREPARES FOR ANY EBOLA ADMISSION

Following the outbreak of Ebola in Kasese district western region, Mbarara regional referral hospital has already prepared the isolated ward for the patients in case of any admission at the referral.
Doctor Celestine Barigye the director Mbarara regional referral hospital said that they have already put stand by doctors to handle any case of Ebola outbreak.
Doctor Barigye is now appealing to the Ugandans to desist from shaking hands as one way of African greeting.
He also called upon people especially the married people to put on condoms or hold sexual, kissing, sharing beds revealing that the virus can also be transferred through anybody fluids.
He now wants the Ugandans to report any person whom they see with unusual signs within the community such as bleeding from all parts of the body.
According to the report from the ministry of health, two deaths have been confirmed and other ten people in isolation wards following the outbreak of Ebola early this week in Kasese.
