MBARARA SPECIAL HIRE DRIVER’S BODY EXHUMED, HANDED TO RELATIVES FOR BURIAL

Police in Kampala have finally exhumed the body of the Mbarara city Special hire driver who was killed by his two alleged customers before they dumped his body in Kasana, Luwero District.
The deceased James Ahimbisibwe reportedly went missing on 6th April 2021 after picking the duo from Buremba stage Mbarara city to yet to be known destination.
The two suspects identified by police as Simon Lutasingwa and Sonko Patrick were arrested following a tip off that one of the suspect was selling a new vehicle at a cheaper price.
Police later told the media that the suspected body of the deceased was found at Bwaziiba near Kasana Luweero and it was buried at Kasana hospital Cementary after locals failed to identify him.
Now according to Charles Twiine the CID spokesperson, the body of the deceased was exhumed by the police and taken to Mulago national referral hospital mortuary for postmortem before they handed it to the deceased relatives for a decent burial.
The two will be charged with murder and aggravated robbery, according to Twine.
