MBARARA WOMAN MP, OPPONENT FIGHT FOR MICROPHONE

Drama ensued recently at Bwizibwera playground in Bwizibwera-Rutooma Town council, Mbarara district at a friendly football match between Good news Television,(a local television station)and Bwizibwera United FC,as the District woman MP, Magrete Ayebaare Rwebyambu exchanged heavy words with her opponent Loyda Muhimbura Kyarikunda who is the lady councillor Rubaya sub- county over a microphone.

Rwebyambu who was invited to speak at the function as the patron yamba foundation (the organization that had organized the foot ball match) declined her opponent to speak after her arguing that it’s generally considered respectful for a councillor to refrain from giving a speech immediately after the member of Parliament has spoken.

Loyda Muhimbura who was presiding over the friendly football match as the guest of honor was later forced to give her speech before the MP.

Rwebyambu however wondered why the councillor who was presiding over the football match left the venue before the area member of Parliament could give her speech.
