MEDICS ARRESTED IN KANUNGU AS OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR GOES MISSING

Three Medics attached to Kihiihi health center Four in Kanungu District are in Police custody following the disappearance of an oxygen concentrator valued at shillings 4.5 million.

The Kanungu Deputy Resident District Commissioner Gad Rugaju has identified the suspects as Abampurira Gildo, Saturday Justina, Owamani Elijah who are staff of Kihihi Health center 4

Rugaju says the concentrator which was the only one at Kihiihi Health center 4 went missing on 07/07/2022 but the matter was reported to the authorities 10 days later on 17/17/2022

The three staff members are being questioned on how the machines’ disappearance was not reported immediately.

Oxygen concentrators take in air from the room and filter out nitrogen. The process provides the higher amounts of oxygen needed for oxygen therapy needed by seriously ill patients.
