MENTALLY ILL PATIENTS INCREASE IN KABAROLE

The principle hospital administrator Buhinga Regional Referral hospital Ms. Grace Rubale has revealed that the number mentally ill patients at the facility increases on a daily basis.
Speaking to mknewslink reporter in an interview, Rubale noted
that in a day the hospital admits 35 to 40 patients which are beyond the normal standard capacity of the facility.
She observed that such the most affected are youth between 18 to 35 years of age which has hindered development in their respective communities.
Ms. Rubale blamed the illness to excessive use of drugs like marijuana, alcohol, and high levels of poverty and stress.
She urged the public to support mental illnesses patients in rehabilitating them so as to fight the scourge in the district.
