Mr. Mfashingabo celebrates with supporters after being declared a winner

Former Kibaale district vice chairperson Stephen Byaruhanga Mfashingabo has been nominated district NRM chairperson.
Mr. Mfashingabo was competing with other four contestants for the Kibaale district chairperson LC5 that led to tightening of security in the area.
Mr. Mfashingabo Stephen Byaruhanga polled 22,869 votes making 36% his closest rival Yosiya Ndibwami garnered 17,254 votes with 26%, others William Kasaija Mugenyi had 21%, Ssentogo John Bosco 3% and Richad Tumwebaze came last with 02%.
Woman Member of parliament seat NRM flag was won by Jenipher K Mbabazi after polling 43375 making 68%, Patience Nyanjura trailed with 22%, Marygoret Anakuya got 3%, Happy Aganyira 4% and Proscovia Bamutura was the last with only 2%.
