Tanga Odoi the NRM chairman electoral commission has today 11^th Sept.2020 declared Jennifer Muheesi as the diligent elected woman Member of Parliament for Kazo 

Odoi announced the largely awaited for results at Rwizi Arch hotel in Mbarara city.

Jennifer Muheesi emerged the winner after she garnered 16802 votes, against Molly Kamukama the state minister for economic monitoring who got 16715 votes, Ronah Ruranga Kemirembe 13288 votes, Leonida Sanyu Tukundane 2721 ,Moreen Karubanga N 1265 votes ,Anna Ruyondo with 9039 votes ,Hope Kajinja Mbabazi 1533 votes and Merab Kyamaziima Milly 1210 

Tanga Odoi noted that he announced the results in Mbarara because he is mandated by the Constitution to declare a winner in any part of Uganda. 

The declaration of results for the woman Member of Parliament for Kazo delayed following complaints from most of the candidates about the irregularities that transpired in the elections which was held on last Friday.
