MOTORIST DIES IN RUBANDA ACCIDENT

One motorist died after knocking a parked car at Kebitakuli along Kabale-Kisoro Road.

 The deceased Mutesigensi Francis a resident of Habusinde Hamurwa town council Rubanda district who was riding motor cycle no. UEW397 Q Bajaj red knocked a vehicle no. UBA 105A Isuzu parked at Kebitakuli along Kabale Kisoro Road in Rubanda district.

The Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson Elly Maate said the accident occurred on 15/11/2019 at about 03:20 pm. The rider was rushed to Kakore HCII where he died shortly.

Both the motor vehicle & motorcycle were taken to Rubanda Police Station as investigations continue.

Elly Maate said the preliminary Cause of the accident is reckless riding.
