He blamed the staff for producing poor results in Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level) and UACE. He noted that Kibubura Girls’ secondary School is only the single school admitting only girls and under government aid in the district.
He said the school used to excel in UNEB exams in the past but currently the performance is rapidly declining. He asked the staff to pull their socks and work hand in hand with the Board of Government if the school is to restore it’s former glory.
“For over 30 years ,Kibubura Girls” secondary school used to excel and competing with other schools in the country, but of recently the academic standards started deteriorating and students enrolment has gone down.
Capt. Guma commended the people of Ibanda municipal council for establishing the developments that have transformed the district and put it on the map.
