MP KAGINDA DENIES WITHDRAWING AMBULANCE FROM RUKUNGIRI AFTER LOSING ELECTION

The Member of Parliament for Rukungiri Municipality Rolland Mugume Kaginda has dispelled malicious information going on that he has withdrawn the ambulance he donated to the Municipality 4 years ago.
Speaking exclusively to this Online Publication yesterday afternoon, Kaginda made it categorically clear that the ambulance in question which was procured in 2017, was taken to the garage for repairs and replacement of the engine but not withdrawn.
Kaginda explained that after 4 years, the ambulance which he handed over to LC 1 Chairmen needed some repairs and it was agreed that it should be taken to expert garage for the works and replacement of the engine to enable it operate better.
He told this Online Publication that all repairs on the Ambulance have been completed and the new engine fitted into the vehicle which will be returned to Rukungiri on Thursday this week.
Hon Kaginda said that he will continue running the operational cost of the Ambulance until May 2021 when he vacates Parliament and he will see if the Rukungiri Municipality Administration will take over its maintaince.
“Those who saying that I withdrew the Ambulance after losing the election are only trying to tarnish my name because I have never thought of withdrawing the vehicle” Hon Kaginda said.
Hon Kaginda also explained that he has not withdrawn any support he has been giving to the Municipality citing an example of the financial support he is giving to 86 students in different vocational training schools until they complete their studies.
He also said that he is supporting some people who are suffering from chronic diseases and will ensure such support until the end.
