MP MWIJUKYE’S CAR KILLS TWO CHILDREN IN MPIGI

Buhweju county Member of parliament Francis Mwijukye yesterday evening survived lynching after his car knocked two children dead along Kampala- Masaka high way.

The accident occurred yesterday at 6pm at Mbizzinya Kyengera near Buwama town.

It is alleged that the legislator’s land cruiser Prado with a personalized number plate ‘MP WAITU’ also injured a boda boda cyclist after he suddenly joined the road.

The legislator’s driver lost control and rammed into nearby garden afterkilling two pedestrians on spot.

Close associates say the opposition leader is still struggling with chest pain though he is out of danger.

The cyclist was rushed to Gomba Hospital in Mpigi District while bodies of the deceased were taken to the same hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.
