MP NGABIRANO AIRLIFTED TO KAMPALA FOR TREATMENT

Rwampara Member of Parliament Charles Ngabirano has been airlifted to Kampala for further medical management after surviving serious motor accident six kilometers along Mbarara Kabale road.
The accident occurred in Rucece wetland in Nyakayojo division Mbarara municipality Mbarara district on October 31, 2019 afternoon hours due to mere mechanical challenges within the vehicle.
The Member of Parliament Ngabirano was rushing to attend the swearing ceremony for the leaders of the interim local government of new Rwampara district.
Eye witnesses said the land cruiser registration number UAW 381H was traveling at high speed before it lost control and overturned several times in the road reserve injuring the legislator only in the right ribs where he was complaining of serious pain.
He was shortly admitted at Mpagi private healthy facility in Nyamitanga division before transferred to Mayanja Memorial hospital Nyamityobora Kakoba division for scanning services later referred at Mbarara Regional Referral hospital where he was admitted to intensive care unit.
Ngabirano and his wife were airlifted in the army helicopter to Nakasero hospital in Kampala for further medical management.
Ngabirano later said that though he was given some pain killers, is still feeling a lot of pain around his right side of the body.
The driver and another occupant are said to be free of injuries and are in good condition except the vehicle was slightly damaged and the wreckage is at Mbarara police station.
