MRS ANNET MUGISHA DONATES 320 GOATS TO WIDOWS, PWDS

The wife of Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha, the managing director of national water and Sewerage Corporation has donated 320 goats to widows and women with disabilities in all the 13 sub-counties and divisions of Bushenyi district.
While launching the project at Kyeizooba sub-county headquarters today evening Feb.20, 2018, Mrs Annet Katusiime Mugisha noted that she wants to see every one living a decent life.
She noted that she got the money to buy the goats from her family charity organization called Bamugisha community welfare. She added that her husband Eng. Mugisha wrote a book and all the money that accrued from it was injected in the charity organization together with support friends and her own savings.
She said that her family charity organization has already graduated 10 students from universities by paying their fees and upkeep.
Kyeizooba sub-county received 35 goats; 5 for women with disabilities and 30 for widows. She has already accomplished an exercise under the same charity organization to donate 270 goats to youth in the whole district.
The chief guest Jafari Basajabalaba, the Bushenyi district chairman warned the people of his district to stop fronting political parties but rather support leaders who will attend to the problems.
He urged Mrs Mugisha to continue with her crusade of development in Bushenyi district. He added that the ministry of local government approved Bitooma, Kizinda and Kyabugimbi town councils to start 2018/2019 financial year.
