MTN COMPANY VEHICLE KNOCKS THREE PEOPLE DEAD IN MBARARA

Three people have been confirmed dead after being knocked down by MTN vehicle Registration number UAY 304A.

According to ASP Samson Kasasira the Rwizi police mouthpiece, the accident occurred along Ibanda-Mbarara road at Akancuncu-Kagongi trading centre.

ASP Kasasira revealed that MTN vehicle that was being driven by a one Eddy Inavulungiti knocked a Boda Boda Registration number UFE 548L ridden by Chris Abigaba a resident of Kagongi  who was carrying two passengers including Ahimbisibwe Agustus aged 17 years and and abaho Amelia 06 years all Residents of Kagongi who also died on spot.

The three died on spot and their bodies were taken to Mbarara regional referral hospital for postmortem.

The two vehicles were towed to Rubindi police station awaiting I.O.V  inspection
