MURDERER DRAGS SELF TO POLICE FEW DAYS AFTER KILLING 10 YEAR OLD GIRL

A man in Kabarole district who killed a 10 year old girl has brought himself to police confessing it.

Agondeze David aged 26, hailing from Kitumba Ngombe Busoro sub county  Kabarole district on 28^th Sept2019  handed himself to fort portal police for murdering a 10 year old girl.

Last week, Gloria Babeli who had gone missing on from her home in Busoro Sub County, Kabarole district was found dead and her body dumped in a swamp.

According to Rwenzori West Police Spokesperson, Lydia Tumushabe, Babeli a P.4 pupil at Ngombe Primary School left home in Ngombe village at around 3pm to go and fetch water from a nearby stream and never returned.

However, her grandfather, Christopher Mugenyi, whom she had left home, decided to ask residents in the area to help him search for her granddaughter.  

During the search Babeli’s body was by residents found dumped in a nearby swamp 300 meters away from the stream where the girl had gone to fetch water.

Meanwhile, after learning it, the deceased’s relatives together with the neighbors stormed the home of the suspect where they destroyed properties worth millions of shillings in form of revenge which attracted the police to go and calm down the situation.
