The former presidential candidate 2016 presidential elections Dr. col. has revealed that president Museveni is besieged and cannot even trust his driver as well as his escorts because of the pressure he is going through.

Besigye said this today July 16, 2016 at valley inn in Bushenyi town while addressing a prèss conference.

Dr. Besigye noted that the recent incident where Museveni sat alongside the road to communicate on phone in Kyirumba in isingiro district was a true manifestation that Museveni doesnot trust anybody including his driver, escorts and personal assistants.

“The reason as to why Museveni left the comfort of his car to sit alongside the road was because of the fact that he doesnot trust his staff because he thinks the driver could have put dangerous devices in the car. For example why didn’t he tell his driver to move out of the vehicle and then he communicates on phone rather than moving out of the car” Besigye observed.

Besigye added that when museveni has visitors these days, he closes all roads which is wrong and a sign of fear. He noted that Ugandans would want to wave to his visitors but because of his fear he closes the roads.

He added that Museveni is a president of guns and whereever he goes, he is surrounded by tanks because he lives quacking life.

Today morning, police deployed heavily in Bushenyi district with road brokes at all junctions because Besigye was scheduled to lay wreath on the tomb of the former FDC electoral commission chairperson for Bushenyi district who was buried on Wednesday this week.

In a press conference the RPC greater Bushenyi Musani Micheal vowed that Besigye cannot visit the home of the late Mary kasingye because he did not have permission to visit the family.

Musani paraded a person he called a member of the family Eng.John Muramye whom other members of the family denied that the person they paraded is not a member of the family but he impersonated eng.Muramye.

Besigye criticized the current parliament as a walking stick for president Museveni because they worship him as if he is God instead of working for Ugandans who trusted them with their votes.

He added that before even the current parliament, was taken to kyankwanzi leadership Institute and indoctrinate them and there after they started worshiping him. They are frequently bribed by them even with the least amount of money.

He further added that before he challenged Museveni in 2001 he had NEVER been summoned to police neither imprisoned. But so far he has been taken to court and police over two hundred times.

Besigye who has been accompanied by the lord mayor for kampala Elias Lukwago, Ingrid Turinawe FDC’s secretary for mobilization. He hailed Mzee Mukaira William for being a strong man and a freedom fighter since 1960’s. he played fundamental role in the NRA bush war and currently helping FDC in its quest for freedom of Ugandans.

Besigye was on his way to Rukungiri for a thanksgiving function after his release. He will proceed to Kabale on Monday for mention of his case at Kabale chief magistrate’s court. He is charged with inciting violence together with the load mayor, Ingrid Turinawe, MP Rowland Kaginda and MP Mubaraka Munyagwa.
