MUSHANGA PARISH CHRISTIANS ASKED TO USE HOLY SPIRIT GIFTS POSITIVELY

The Mushanga parish Priest has asked Christians of St Rose Catholic Church Kabwohe to use the Holy Spirit gifts positively in order to gain more.

Preaching the congregation today at the church on the Pentecost day, Rev Fr Mucunguzi Vicent Mushanga said that some take the Holy Spirit and gifts from God as an advantage to harass their friends and neighbors.

“most of you are crying for the Holy Spirit gifts, but many of you have ever gotten them but you used them to harass your neighbors, friends and people you meet on the way, I want to assure you that when you get the Holy Spirit and you use the gifts negatively, automatically they are taken away from you, when you get them, help your friends positively and stop doubting,” he said.

Mucunguzi also told the congregation that they should stop being proud on others in their hearts and stop comparing Holy Spirit gifts because it is not good.

He spoke all these while the Catholic Church in the whole world is celebrating the day when Jesus’ disciples received the Holy Spirit hence Pentecost day and all Catholic priests and catechists are ordered to put on red cloth while leading the Holy mass or service.
