MUSLIMS IN BUNYORO HAVE BEEN REQUESTED TO RECONCILE IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN THEIR FAITH

Muslims in Bunyoro region have been requested to reconcile and embrace co-existence in order to strengthen their faith.
The call was made by Badru Mugabi the Hoima city resident commissioner while speaking to the Muslims who converged at Booma grounds for Eid prayers.
Mugabi says impatience and unforgiving among the Muslims are key issues that have led to divisionism among Moslems.
He further requested them to embrace government programs in order to improve on their income.
While preaching at Hoima Booma Grounds Sheikh Akram Mahango of Hoima Town Mosque primary school requested Muslims to desist celebrating Eid al-Fitr in places that are not suitable for the Muslim faith.
He further requested Muslims to use Eid al-Fitr to show love to the people around them starting with their families.
Francis Kazini the Buhaguzi county member of parliament congratulated Muslims upon concluding the fasting season and requested them to continue helping the needy as it has been during the fasting period.
Ismail Kasule a political activist in Hoima city revealed Eid celebrations have come at a time of civil unrest in many parts of the world.
He called for unity, love and peace to prevail in conflict hit Sudan and other parts of the Country.
Meanwhile leading National Eid prayers at Old Kampala Mosque, the Mufti of Uganda Sheik Shaban Ramadthan Mubajje expressed concern over the delay in signing the anti-homosexuality bill and urged President Museveni to expedite the process amid fears of opposition from certain groups of people.
