MUTARA SUB-COUNTY CHAIRMAN GRUESOME MURDER: SIX SUSPECTS RELEASED

Police in Bushenyi district have released five suspects arrested recently in connection with the murder of Mutara sub-county chairman Mr. Jackson Kaginda.
According to credible sources, the five suspects were released on Friday last week because of allegedly lack of evidence.
The released suspects were identified by our source as Ashaba Umar aka Kibanda a coffee trader in Ishaka town, also his two workers were set free; Kamusiime Robert and Atwebembeire Robert aka Kagadi.
Others are Mugisha Moses aka Kanta, Masiiko Vicent and Atwijikire Anthony aka Bongini who tried to tamper with the scene of murder.
The late Kaginda was gruesomely murdered on Oct 21, 2018 night near Ishaka town and his body was hanged in tree after killing him.
Before his death the Mutara sub-county chairman had served as LCIII chairman since 1989. Mutara sub-county sub-county is situated in Mitooma district, Greater Bushenyi.
On the other hand our sources went ahead to tell us that Umar Kibanda was one of the last persons to speak on phone to the deceased but police said that he would not be incriminated by the evidence.
Mk newslink.com contacted Bushenyi police several times and met all the officers including their head, Regional police commander but all were tight lipped over late Kaginda’s murder suspects.
