MWIZI HC III IN-CHARGE INTERDICTED FOR STEALING COVID 19 TESTING KITS

Mwizi Health Centre III in-charge Fredrick Byanyima has been interdicted for Stealing COVID 19 testing kits.

The in-charge’s interdiction was confirmed by the Rwampara Resident District Commissioner Emmy Kateera Turyabagyenyi yesterday in an interview with www.mknewslink.com reporter.

Byanyima was first arrested in Feb. 2021 on the orders of the Resident District commissioner (RDC) Emmy Kateera Turyabagyenyi after he failed to account for 6 hospital beds and their mattresses all valued at 7.3 million that were missing from his facility.

He was later released while the investigations into the matter are still underway.

Byanyima was arrested again on the 29^th June.2021 by Police for stealing three packets of COVID 19 Rapid testing kits from Mwizi Health Center III.

According to the RDC, the in-charge confessed to taking the testing kits and was thus submitted to service commission for interdiction over the misconduct.
