NATIONAL LIBRARY OF UGANDA DONATES BOOKS TO IBANDA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL.

Ibanda Municipal Council Library in Ibanda district has received 213 text books and novels worth millions of money from the National Library of Uganda on Thursday, It is charged with the responsibility of advancing the education of people of Ibanda municipality.
According to the Librarian, Mr. Godfry Kamugabirwe, the donation makes Ibanda municipal public library one of the best equipped with different types of text books in the district.”We have a fully equipped library with novels, books of laws, science, literature, statistics, geography, business studies, mathematics, children’s books and even news papers that will enable the library to expand’Mr. Kamubagirwe said.
Mr. Kamugabirwe said business community, students,teachers,doctors and lawyers visit the library to read the books. He explains that Ibanda municipality library is now fully equipped with over 4750 text books.
He said the donation is timely because of the increasing schools, university and business studies as well as school population in bridging the gap between students and public who want to read books.
