NEW YEAR 2021:NO FIRE WORKS, BURNING TYRES; POLICE TO ARREST RESIDENTS PAST 9 PM—G. BUSHENYI PRO

Greater Bushenyi Police have warned residents not to move out beyond 9pm the curfew mandatory time adding that those who will be found moving will be arrested and celebrate the new year behind bars.
This was revealed by greater Bushenyi region Police spokesperson SP Martial Tumusiime in a statement he released to www.mknewslink.com at his office in Bushenyi town.
He noted that there is no splashing of fireworks in all public places in greater Bushenyi because of Covid 19.
He warned that whoever is found splashing the fireworks will be arrested.
He added that drunkards, youths and other Ugandans who burn tyres in the middle of the road are not allowed adding that they will be arrested so that they can celebrate New Year in police cells.
This New Year 2021 is unusual because of Covid and Big hotels will not splash fireworks neither will the public burn tyres in the whole country.
