The newly elected chairmen LC two and ones from Kagango division Sheema municipality were yesterday advised to go back to school to learn how to read and write .
Sheema municipal town clerk requested the new chairmen never to expose Government’s failures to public thus asking them to go back to school as early as possible.
“And if I were you, I would to the CDO’s office tomorrow early morning and I start adult education such that I can learn how to read and write. I think you have heard the way you were panicking. Please save yourselves early otherwise you are badly off,” the Town clerk said.
These came after many of them failed to read an oath of allegiance that was written in English while others, went in hiding until the swearing in ceremony ended.
The Chairperson LC 3 Kagango division Ben Musumbusa ordered those who dodged taking oaths to take back village stamps to the division offices until they swear in.
“I order all town agents to tell all chairmen who haven’t sworn in to bring here those stamps because they are having them illegally now,” Musumbusa said.
