NIGHT WATCHMAN MURDERED IN KABALE

IN KABALE—

Police in Kabale are investigating the circumstances under which a 65 year
old night watch man was murdered.

According to the Kigezi region spokes person Elly Maate, the deceased has
been identified as Kakuru Simon a resident of Nyakahanga cell in Nothern
division Kabale municipality and was working as a night watch man at Kigezi
Industries near cash and carry super market.

Maate says that his body was found today morning at the work place both his
hands and legs tight and with multiple injuries. He condemned the act by
people who take law in their own hands and called on anybody having
information on his death to report it to police so that the killers are
brought to book and charged accordingly.

He however called on people to start seeking the services of private
security companies to reduce the number of night watch men that are being
murdered.

His body was taken to Kabale regional referral hospital for postmortem as
investigations are going on and it was registered unde
