The deputy vice chancellor Kampala International University Prof. Frank Mugisha has rubbished rumors that there is a strike at the western campus in Ishaka.
The rumors started circulating in morning hours on social media claiming that the guild president had declared a bloody Monday over unfair electoral and welfare policies at campus.
However, when our reporter visited the campus, Mugisha confirmed that the campus is at peace and police are guarding the campus premises to make sure no student(s) puts up a riot.
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com reporter, Mugisha noted that students are busy sitting for their end of semester exams therefore their minds are concentrating.
Mugisha noted that the communication between the administration and guild office is tight and therefore the representatives can’t publish what the administration is not aware of.
