NRM DIEHARDS ADVISE MUSEVENI: CHANGE CAMPAIGN STRATEGIES OR ELSE WE ARE LOSING OUT

NRM supporters from Fort Portal city have realized a need for president Museveni to change campaign strategy if he is to win the forthcoming elections
According to them, there has been a declining voter turn up every term from 1996 because Museveni has always trusted a few leaders to speak on behalf of the electorates but they end up fronting their interests at the expense of the electorates’.
They thus propose that Museveni and NRM choose ten people at random from the mass gatherings he normally addresses during campaigns to air out their grievances to him, hoping that this can cause some impact.
Tuhaise Ivan, a resident of Rwengoma Central division Fort Portal City notes that on several occasions, leaders have been quoted presenting lies to the president which he says is one of the reasons why there is a delayed service delivery.
However Atukwatse Justine a business woman in Ibaale ward Fort Portal City stresses that even if the president picks people at random, he will pledge and leaders may refuse to follow up the pledges if they are not fronted.
Atukwatse instead says that there is a need to off load all the leaders who have not followed up presidential pledges so this will act as an example to those who are reluctant to serve.
Our effort to reach Mr. Kusemererwa Kumwe John, the Kabarole district NRM chairperson for a comment was futile as he could not pick our reported calls.
