NTARE SCHOOL FALLEN TEACHER LAID TO REST IN KITAGWENDA

Thousands of mourners yesterday thronged Kiyagara village in Kabujogera town council, Kitagwenda district to send off James Mulinzi Atwoki one of the fine art teachers at Ntare School.
Mulinzi succumbed to kidney failure on 17th April at Mbarara referral hospital.
The headmaster, Ntare School Jimmy Turyagyenda described the late as a disciplinarian, ever smart, and friendly with everybody at school.
“Whenever Mulinzi requested for money from the school to buy Fine Art materials, he would return the balance and hand it to school Bursar or the accounting officer,” Mr. Turyagyenda revealed.
According to late Mulinzi’s wife, Ms. Justine Barekye Mulinzi, they had finalized with the plans of flying him to Nairobi for treatment having allocated his donor.
“Farewell thee my husband, teacher and friend,” Ms. Mulinzi mourned.
“Mulinzi was a great father who debated, and laughed with all people equally,” The bishop of North West Ankole Rt. Rev. Amos Magezi described the late.
James Mulinzi Atwoki was born on 25th February 1964 at Kiyagara Ntuntu village in Kabujogera town council in current Kitagwenda district.
He is survived by one wife Justine Barekye and two children; Kisembo Jason Atwoki (son), Kakwanzi Saamantha Atwoki a daughter.
He started his teaching profession at Kibubura Girls’ Senior Secondary School in Ibanda district in 1987, then to Ibanda SS in 1988. He was posted to Ntare School in 1994 up to 2021.
