The chairman LCV Ntungamo District; Denis Singahache has chalenged all civil servants to be result oriented in order to succeed in their career for long time.
Singahache sounded the appeal yesterday 21st July 2017 while opening the one day induction training for the over 80 newly recruited staff in Ntungamo District in the financial year 2016/2017 held at Ntungamo Resort Hotel.
The induction training was intended to provide the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding the public service as an institution an specifications of their jobs.
He said that they expect them to promote effective service delivery all sectors and able to serve all people regardless of their political and religion affiliations.
Singahache also tasked the recruited staff to have positive attitude towards work, focus on output and work as team if they are to be good performers in the civil service.
The deputy CAO Ntungamo District John Betunguura asked them to be persuasive, accommodative, delegate and consultative so as to build a winning team and motivated employees to attain the districts’ goals.
Betunguura warned some officers who do not respect their subordinates and general public they risk of being dismissed.
The District Principal Assistant Secretary Fedels Kiiza warned the new staff to avoid unethical and unbecoming behaviors if they are to foster service delivery in the district.
