NTUNGAMO: NRM SUBCOUNTY CHAIRMAN DENIED PARTY MOTORCYCLE FOR STEALING RUKUTANA’S CAMPAIGN CASH

The Rubaare Sub county NRM chairman Jackson Karuhanga has been denied a motorcycle donated to him by the party secretariat.

The Ntungamo district sub counties and Division NRM chairpersons recently received motorcycles from party Secretariat.

However, the officials led by Afande Tandeka refused to give out a motorcycle to Karuhanga on grounds that he embezzled 2.4 million shillings that was meant for mobilization of Rushenyi MP Election in the 8 villages of his sub county.

Afande Tandeka argued that they could not give out an NRM property to someone who obstructed their victory since their candidate Rukutana was defeated.

Meanwhile, the RDC George Bakunda warned all the 34 sub county leaders who got the bikes not to misuse them for Boda boda or in their personal businesses but to use them when monitoring government projects .

34 bikes are not personal but for the office and once voted out, the beneficiaries are expected to hand them over to their successor.
