NWSC TO CONSTRUCT 2.5 M LITRE WATER PROJECT IN WARUGO –KYAMUHUNGA

The natural resources committee of parliament today morning visited a site in Kyamuhunga at Warugo where NWSC is to constrict a 2.5 million litre water project worth 11.7 billion shillings.
The vice chairman of the committee Dr. Emily Kugonza together with his committee were pleased with National water for its initiative that will go a long way to help people of Bushenyi and other surrounding areas.
The committee also visited greater Bushenyi national water headquarters located in Tank hill Bushenyi and they were pleased by the magnificent building.
They also visited the 3000,000 litre Kitagata water source which was construct by World Bank fund at 35Billion shillings to serve Bushenyi and Sheema district.
Among the MPs who visited the NWSC projects in Bushenyi included former leader of opposition Betty Ochan who is now the MP for Gulu city.
She told www.mknewslink.com managing editor that she fostered a son of Late Kanyangonga in Kizinda Kigoma towm council Bushenyi district who later became a reverend father.
After their visit in Bushenyi, the proceeded to Ruhinda north to pay a courtesy visit to the deputy speaker Thomas Tayebwa.
