NYAKABIRIZI DIVISION COUNCILORS SHUN SESSION, DEMAND EX-GRATIA ALLOWANCES

Councilors in Nyakabirizi division Bushenyi Ishaka municipality have today boycotted council session to go to the mayors office to seek help concerning their senior assistant town clerks conduct.
Led by the chairman LCiii George William kasikano and the speaker Twijukye Mackay, councilors moved to the office of the mayor who was not around so they were attended to by the town clerk Muhanguzi Didas.
In a letter dated 08th Oct. 2018 addressed to the mayor, councilors blamed Prima Kushemererwa the Nyakabirizi division assistant town clerk on failure to implement council resolutions, disrespecting politicians and technical staff, misusing operation wealth creation benefits, misguiding the chairman LCiii and failure to follow their ex gratier funds among others.
We are not satisfied with the way she runs her office and thus due to the under listed complaints we request that she should be transferred, part of the letter read.
The town clerk asked councilors to be patient concerning their exgratier allowance explaining that the government is trying to solve it. He also promised to submit their letter to the mayor whom he said would give them a reply.
