NYARUHANGA HIGH SCHOOL PURCHASES COASTER BUS WORTH 180MILLIONS

Nyaruhanga high school in Rubanda Town council Rubanda District yesterday purchased a coaster Bus worth 180million from Japan to help the school participate in co-curricular activities, games and sports.
The brand New Coaster Bus UBN 216D Worth 180million was directly imported from Japan.
Addressing the teachers, parents, Board members and the community who had gathered together in the school compound, Mr Katebarigwe Robert who is the school Headmaster said that mobilization and fundraising for funds to purchase the coaster Bus started in 2018.
Where each student was entitled to pay an extra of 10,000shs on school fees and carrying out fundraising functions for the coaster bus where different politicians would contribute in huge amounts of money.
He appreciated the role played by different stakeholders, Retired Bishop Engineer George Bagamuhunda, old and currently Regime of Rubanda District leadership, current Bishop of the Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna for the role played to have the coaster Bus purchased.
Katebarigwe said that the school has been facing a number of challenges ranging from participating in games and sports, most especially in scouting where they would face a problem to transport the scouts from Rubanda to Kadhi in Entebbe.
He added that the coaster Bus is going to act as a source of income to the school from the community, and churches who will be hiring the coaster Bus.
Ven Noah Kyoma, the archdeacon Nyaruhanga Archdeaconry challenged the parents and the community to utilize the coaster bus for the benefit of the school.
He further challenged the parents to take their children to Nyaruhanga high school saying that the Coaster bus is going to help the students during their field studies and in games and sports which will increase their academic performance.
Dr Situate Turanzomwe, a member of the board and old students said that during their time they faced a challenge of participating in school activities.
