ONE PERISHES IN ISHAKA CAR ACCIDENT

In Bushenyi–
One person has been confirmed dead and two survived with serious injuries when the car in which they were travelling swerved into a trench at Kaburengye in Kizinda; along Ishaka-Kasese high way.
Talking to www.mknewslink.com editor on telephone early today, the police spokesperson for Greater Bushenyi region;Martial Tumusiime confirmed the incident and identified the dead as Aron Thembo; a school headteacher in Bundibugyo.
He said the accident occurred at 09:30pm last night when the Toyota corolla knocked a pedestrian at Talk and Work garage before it veered off the road.
The pedestrian who survived with minor injuries was identified as Betty Komugisha.
Tumusiime also identified the injured as Joel Muhiindo whose both legs were fractured and Kasifa Masika whose leg was broken.
Apollo Mwongyera; a lecturer at KIU western campus Ishaka who was driving the vehicle is now detained at Ishaka police station.
